Nothing Phone (3a)

The Nothing Phone (3a) is a mid-range smartphone announced in March 2025 and released shortly after. It features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, protected by Panda Glass. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with an Adreno 810 GPU, it runs Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 15, with an upgrade path to Android 16 and up to three major Android updates. Memory configurations include 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, with no microSD card slot. The camera system includes a 50MP wide sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto for 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens, capable of recording 4K video. The front camera is a 32MP sensor. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 50W wired charging, achieving 50% charge in 19 minutes. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The device has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and features three LED light strips on the back for notifications and camera fill light. It measures 163.5 x 77.5 x 8.4 mm, weighs 201 grams, and is available in Black, White, Blue, and a Community Edition green.
