The Huawei nova 8 5G is a mid-range smartphone announced in December 2020 and released in January 2021. It features a 6.57-inch OLED display with HDR10 support and a 90Hz refresh rate, offering vibrant colors and smooth scrolling. Powered by the Kirin 985 5G chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G77 GPU, it delivers solid performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of internal storage (UFS), though it lacks a microSD card slot. The quad-camera setup includes a 64MP wide lens, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and an auxiliary lens, capable of recording 4K video with gyro-EIS. The 32MP front camera also supports 4K video. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. It has an under-display optical fingerprint sensor and other standard sensors.
